I have always loved pencil eye liner. Even though I started off with liquid liner (who let me do that?!), as soon as I discovered pencils I was converted. Here I have a selection of some that I've tested out and enjoyed.

The Return of the Cat Eye

Liquid eyeliner is the bomb-dot-com. I love it for a thin line across my lashes, a thick one, and the classic winged look. Since reading It by Alexa Chung, I've been bringing back the cat eye look.

Aesop x Kinfolk Event

Last week I was invited to an event at one of the new Aesop stores in Portland celebrating the opening as well as the new issue of Kinfolk. I didn't take any photos at the actual event because it was super crowded and I couldn't stay for long, but it was kind of fun to see the new store (I had shopped in the other one for my recent haul) and check out the new issue of Kinfolk. They gave each person a goody bag on the way out including the new issue and a body wash. Thanks for the fun event Aesop!

I don't do much right before I go to bed, as my skincare routine is enough to end the day with, but there are still a few bits that I like to use right before I nod off. Mostly involves a whole lot of moisturizing...

I ❤ Anomie

I recently made my first purchase from Anomie, a wonderful online shop created by ChelseaWears, who I mentioned in Friday's post. I picked up these super cute bar earrings in sterling silver from giantlion, and I love them so much already. I can't wait to buy more from the site, and I've already got my eye on the sunflower tank as well as these lovely stone studs to pair with the bar ones I just got... can you tell I love this site? ;)

About a year ago, I sustained a knee injury that meant I couldn't dance for a quarter. With no dance classes and rehearsals after school, I practiced painting my nails. After a while I got pretty good at it and I now have a good collection of products that I use every time I paint my nails.

New Year's Resolutions

One of my resolutions/goals for 2014 was to try blogging more. Now, I love reading beauty and style blogs, and that's what I want to write about on here. However, I also want to be able to talk about things related to other aspects of my life, like dance and art history. I'm hoping that I can get back to blogging regularly as it is something I have done for a while on a variety of platforms. I don't know how many videos will get made because I think my iMovie has died on me... so blogging will have to do for now! :)
