I picked up a few things from Sephora over the last couple of months, so I thought I would share them with you. Since I've had most things for a while, I'm also going to be reviewing the products so this is more than just a regular haul!
Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black Perfume Rollerball: I kept going into Sephora and putting this on, and while I did also like the White version of this perfume, it smells a lot like Chloe (which I already have and don't totally love). This scent is a bit more unique for me, and while it is on the sweeter side of things, it isn't super overwhelming. I bought the rollerball version for a couple reasons, mainly because it is cheaper, but also because I don't wear perfume too often so it makes more sense for something smaller.
Shiseido Facial Cotton: Total impulse buy. Spotted them on Tamira's blog and she is one of those bloggers who always gives the best recommendations, so I decided to give them a go. This is the only thing I haven't tried yet, but I'm excited to. I have very sensitive eyes so I'm hoping these will be good for eye makeup removal.
Dior Nudeskin BB Cream in 002: Oh man, this was pricey, but it is so good. I don't wear face makeup super often, and I don't like it to be super heavy, but after getting a sample of this after continuing to hear raves from my favorite bloggers, I realized this was something that was worth it. This is pretty light coverage, but that's what I like for my skin because I like to let my freckles show through.
Tarte Lights Camera Splashes Mascara: I was having a treat yo self moment with this one. I don't usually buy mascara that's not from the drugstore, but I was in a mood and after hearing so many good things about the Tarte mascaras I figured I would give it a go. This stuff is fabulous. It is very wet, so I find that I have to be careful when I apply it, but it adds volume and lengthens like no other. I love it. The packaging is also really fun, bonus points there!
Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Black: Probably the creamiest eyeliner I have ever used. I bought this after reading an article on xoVain about the best liner for tight lining, and they weren't kidding. It's so waterproof and doesn't transfer to my waterline, which is kind of amazing. It's also really good as a regular eyeliner, but the only downside is that I feel like I've used a lot already, even though I've only used it maybe four times, max. So I think it will be mostly reserved for tight lining occasions.
Nars Pro Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base: This is a repurchase for me. It is the most effective eyeshadow primer that I have ever used. I have super oily eyelids and this keeps my shadows crease-free all day. My first tube was over a year old and finally ran out, and in trying another primer I realized I really needed this one again.
Have you tried any of these things? Anything you love from Sephora that I should add to my shopping list?
