My mom is from India, and I was lucky enough to inherit her full, dark eyebrows (my brother, not so much...). I have a love hate relationship with my eyebrows, but I've finally found a system that works for me and ways to keep them under control should things go slightly awry.
The most important tool for me is a good pair of tweezers. I had a nice pair of Ms. Manicure tweezers for years, but they finally bit the dust so I decided to invest in a pair of Tweezermans. I went for the mini travel size version because they're the same as the big ones, only cheaper, and I've got small hands anyway so it didn't really matter! If I don't stay on top of things, I end up with one eyebrow, so the only tweezing I do is to keep the two brows away from each other. I don't do anything to shape my brows because I like the shape they are already.
There are some uneven bits in my brows, so to fill things in when I'm in the mood I use the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette. My eyebrows are black, but a black pencil would be much to harsh so this dark brown is perfect. I really like this pencil because it is easy to apply and you can build up the color as little or as much as you want. Plus, it comes with a spoolie on the other end!
To hold my brows in place, I use the Maybelline clear mascara. It's alright, I always end up having to remove a ton of product from the want before putting it on my brows, but it's so cheap and doesn't leave white bits if you don't put too much on. I also use a regular spoolie from Sonia Kashuk to brush through my brows when I apply this to even things out and remove any excess product.
Any other peeps out there with the super thick brows? :)
