Bedtime Beauty

I don't do much right before I go to bed, as my skincare routine is enough to end the day with, but there are still a few bits that I like to use right before I nod off. Mostly involves a whole lot of moisturizing...

Essie have recently released a line of spa-inspired moisturizers, and I have been using the one for feet and legs about every night recently. As a dancer, it's important to take care of my feet because I'm often dancing barefoot and developing callouses or tears. The lotion smells really nice, and is very moisturizing, but does leave an oily residue behind, so maybe not one for mornings.

I also love the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream, as it's unscented and super thick. I've already gone through one tube of this, and you really don't need much to work into both hands. Again, quite a sticky one, so it is better at night.

The Dior Creme de Rose lip balm is absurdly expensive, but I love it to pieces. I'm on my second one now, and when I wake up in the morning I can sometimes still feel it on my lips, it is that thick and moisturizing. It is definitely a treat, and it feels so luxurious right before I go to bed.

A couple extra things include Hear-o earplugs, which I started using my first year of college in my noisy dorm. I can't sleep without them, and they are quite comfortable compared to other ones I've tried. I also like the Aveda Chakra fragrance spray to create a relaxing aroma. Not necessarily something I use every night, more of a whenever I feel like it sort of product.

Mainly I really like to have a routine for right before I go to bed because it helps me to get to sleep better when I am in that mindset of getting ready to sleep, not to do anything else.

Do you have a bedtime beauty routine too?
