Empties #1

I must admit, this is not my best photography, but these have been hanging around forever so I thought I'd talk about some products I've used up in the last few months!
Lush Lemony Flutter: this is the second container of this that I've used up. It's a really thick and moisturizing cuticle butter, and it was such a treat when I had it. Clearly I liked it because I have owned two of them, but I can't really justify the price of it anymore as I think they may have raised it. If you're looking for a treat for your hands, this is a good product to try.

The Body Shop Body Butter in Strawberry (mini): I picked this up in an order I made at The Body Shop when there was some sort of deal to get free shipping. I've used the body butters before, but never anything from the strawberry scent. I really like these body butters, they sink in quickly and are very moisturizing. This scent is really sweet and reminds me of being a kid buying Bonnebell lip glosses! The word I would use to describe it is yummy. I like the mini sizes for trying different scents, and I will buy the body butters again but maybe not this scent.

Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover: I bought this because ViviannaDoesMakeup raved about it and it does not disappoint. I almost always wear waterproof mascara because I'm either dancing, wearing contacts, or dealing with my perpetually oily eyelids. This gets almost everything off, which is great, and I'm already halfway through my second bottle.

Philosophy Sugar Plum Fairy Shower Gel (mini): This was from the 2012 Christmas collection, and I loved it so much that it took me ages to use it up all the way. A pretty sweet scent, but it was purple and sparkly, plus it was named after a dance role and as a dance major who goes to a school with purple as one of its colors I had to have it. I love the Philosophy shower gels, but they are a treat, and you can get cheaper ones that work just as well.

Urban Decay De-Slick (travel size): I was a bit skeptical of this, which is why I bought the travel size, but I found it quite helpful. It's a spray that you mist on your face after you apply your face makeup (I would also put it on before too) that helps to lock your makeup in place. I have a really oily face, and this definitely helped things stick around even if it didn't totally eliminate shine. It was also useful if I overpowered and needed to tone things down a little. I have since repurchased the full size, partially because it does work and also because I just love face sprays.

I do love using up products, it makes me feel so much better about buying new things!
