I have tried many a hand cream, because I have somehow developed really dry hands in the last year. I use quite a bit of hand sanitizer, which is definitely a contributing factor, and today I want to share five that have been hanging around in my collection.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream: This is my favorite hand cream to use at night. It is fragrance free, so it doesn't make me sneeze before I try to sleep. It's super thick and moisturizing, and since I use it at night, it's ok that it doesn't sink in very fast.
Bioderma Repair Hand Cream: I bought this in Paris at City Pharma because I figured why not. It's okay, pretty moisturizing, but it takes forever to sink in and it's not that thick. It also has a very strong scent, which would be less of an issue if it sunk in quickly because I hate just waiting around. It was an impulse buy, and it's sort of fun to know I got it abroad, but not an essential if you do find yourself in front of a large Bioderma selection.
Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream: My favorite day hand cream! It has a really nice light citrus scent, sinks in SUPER fast, and is nice and moisturizing. They've redone the packaging, I don't know if it's the same formula but I would assume so. It's a bit on the spendy side, but honestly, I use it every day and it is so handy (haha-get it? Totally unintentional...) when I'm in a lecture class and have dry hands but need to keep taking notes. I will definitely repurchase this.
Soap & Glory Hand Food: This has been raved about by many a blogger, and for good reason. It smells delicious and is super moisturizing. It doesn't sink in as quickly as the Caudalie hand cream, but it is cheaper and a really nice alternative. This is my second mini bottle and I'm considering getting a big one for my desk when I finish up all these minis!
Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Hand Cream: This is a really nice thick hand cream, very moisturizing, but it doesn't sink in very quickly. I would use it at night, but it makes me sneeze like crazy! I do like the scent, but unfortunately that is the case. I'm not sensitive to a lot of scents, but for some reason the First Bloom scent gets me. I had the hand sanitizer too and I sneezed through that as well. I think I'll try some more of these, but not in this scent.
What's your favorite hand cream? Have you tried any of these?
My favourite day time hand cream is the Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve and my favourite night hand cream is the L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream. Both are very hydrating but the the Kiehl's one sinks in straight away so my hands don't stay sticky.

Somehow just finally saw this comment! I've heard great things about the Kiehl's hand cream, but not much about the L'Occitane one. I'll have to try it out!
