I bought Lush's Charity Pot while repurchasing Lemony Flutter (post on that later), and I must admit it was a bit of an impulse buy.
I had been checking out the Dream Cream, but it's so expensive that I couldn't justify buying it. The salesperson pointed out Charity Pot as a smaller, cheaper alternative and a way to try out a lotion from Lush.
I bought it on a whim, without smelling it, which wasn't the best plan. I was not a huge fan of the scent. I think it's supposed to smell like cocoa, but it smelled a bit odd to me. I didn't hate it, but I did initially think of giving it away instead of using it myself. I decided to just use it up, since I didn't have anybody to give it to. It's very creamy and moisturizing, and I actually got used to the scent after a while. I really liked the consistency of the lotion, it wasn't too thin or too thick.
Clearly I have used it all up, but I don't think I will be repurchasing it. However, I did feel good about the purchase overall since the profits benefit various grassroots charities. It was only $5.95, and definitely a good way to try out the lotions from Lush. I now have my eyes on Sympathy for the Skin as well as the Dream Cream... I know what I'm putting on my Christmas wish list!
Final Thoughts: Great product, not crazy about the smell so go smell it before you buy it!
